Knights of Columbus Free Throw Shooting Contest
Each year McGivney Council 29 hosts a Free Throw Shooting Contest open to all Danbury boys and girls ages 9 thru 14. The event is held at St. Joseph School, 370 Main Street in Danbury and usually occurs in January. Local winners in each age bracket advance to a district contest which covers a larger geographical area within western Connecticut. Success at that level can lead to further contests.
